a week from now i'll be a college graduate...so much anticipation i might just pee my pants......
but not really

my expectation: it will be about as uneventful as the old high school graduation

it probably doesn't help that the person i hate most in the world has decided to come and annoy the shit out of my family, most likely....i'm not accepting anything less than $1,000 from him....especially if communication is required...that's the price to talk to an asshole in my book (sorry, i got a little frustrated there)

i've always wondered if graduation would be more eventful if i were in a smaller graduating class....eh whatevs

fyi..if you feel like coming and cheering for me...Bartow Arena 2pm Saturday the 16th....be there

i talked to my mom tonight and told her i didn't want to be a grown-up...she immediately answered by saying "i don't want to be a grown-up either"...my mom is cool and we set out a plan that my 15 year old brother will take care of us in a few years....grown-up life is scary...i mean....what's with this using your degree to get a job stuff?? scarrrrrrryyyyy...

so yes...it's the end of the week and i just took the last of my 3 tests this week....all of which pretty much raped me..but we'll see how the grades are on tuesday...hopefully i passed all of them...only one more test,a i don't know how long paper, a 20 minute presentation, a 15 minute presentation, and an hour and 15 minute presentation to go before finals...i bet you can tell i'm super psyched!!
oh well..the thing that's getting me through= GRADUATION BITCHES!!! everyone should attend..i demand it!!

she was at stein mart tonight buying things, frank checked her out whilst i waved like a retard and told her her name was fran curry..as if she didn't know....
she's extremely nice...she came and talked to me, asked me where i was from and how much longer i had in school. she said she liked psychology too!!
so after she left and i gave her a big ego boost... frank remembered that he forgot to take off the security sensor on her jacket...so hopefully she'll be back tomorrow morning when i work..and hopefully she won't be mad!!!

so i took the gre today and the outcome was.....i rock at the whole math part and i think i did pretty good with the writing section, but as far as the verbal section....well...we'll just not talk about it...it's somewhat bad..but i'm happy with it.. hopefully i can get into grad school at uab with my scores, but if not...i'll just find something to do with my semester off....
so woop on being math smart and poop on the whole english language...i mean who really uses the word soporific??? for reals...

so today was the second day that my psychology of drugs and alcohol abuse teacher cancelled...i hope he doesn't die...he emailed the class and told us he has pneumonia and wouldn't be in class tuesday..and apparently today
sure..it'd be sad if he died and all..but (not to sound totally conceeded, which i know that's the way it'll come across)...i kind of need the class to graduate and there aren't anymore 400 level classes that fit into my schedule.....so if anyone that is religious would like to pray for my teacher (ie..me graduating) please do so

I thought I might finally update the old lj...so yes... we did pictures today which was, it turns out to be completely irrelevant why we did them today when we could have spent time practicing..this coming from gary who says that they're not even using the pictures until next year's football program..but whatever...it kept us from actually doing anything for about 45 minutes..
um..i got my new laptop and it's awesome!! good investment if i do say so myself....
i got a job at the bath and body works...found that out today..so now i'll be smelling extra awesome everyday!! oh and i get a kick ass discount at bath and body works, the white candle place, and victoria's secret....there are more..but i can't remember at this moment in time!!! so if you want to get some awesome discounts...you can pretend to be my friend and maybe i'll help you out

so yes..i finally finished teaching the 2 weeks of band camp at bb comer high school...and yes..it is as country as it sounds...
the girls were cool..not too much drama like usual colorguards, but i got what i needed to get done, done...oh yes...for anyone reading this...NEVER WORK AT BB COMER HS..the band director is a total dumbass...he claims he went to troy univ for college but acts nothing like it...FOR EXAMPLE
they have no field markers...i mean i can count it out but that's just a hassle
they have no hash marks..which made it nearly..no it made it impossible to set the girls...i finally gave up and said..just make it look like you know where you're going
they have no drill charts...only the director had charts..and i do mean only him.....he "set" the whole band by himself..which took forever and only consisted of "woodwinds..make a line bt the 45s"
oh and last but not least....you know how some bands have markers to go from one set to the other..yeah.....what they did instead was dig the back of their heel into the field to mark the spot..oh and the director promoted this act....
i can just say that my hs band director would be appalled!
but anyway..i had as much fun as i could and I GOT PAID..so that was the goodness

and now off to dci atlanta tomorrow w/ nikeela, rob, sarah, and drew..this summer will never end!

woo hoo!! only 2 more days of actual USSRC work...then i'll get to go down to sylacauga and colorguard teach it up! i hope i won't suck..but i DO have a low tolerance for little kid inquiries...this much i have learned from the space and rocket center...i know i WILL NOT be returning...the people were cool and all, but those stuck up kids....AHH..i don't see how my sis can do it..
either way, i'm prepared..so atleast i have that much going for me... and then after that..i'll have an actual non working summer break, but for only like 2 weeks-ish....during that time i'll be going to see the coolest older brother there is!! hello justin!!! ok, i think that was enough for now...

so i decided to finally update since...oh who knows when?! bascially it's because i should be writing my vita (aka my resume in psych language) but chose not to right now...tomorrrow is sparks in the park! and i'll be attending, like everyone else that's cool in the world!! it will be fun! eh...that's it for now

so i'm done with my next to last semester of school, you know, before more school....i'm soo excited....i get my old job back in hville which will maybe leave me w/ some time to come visit the ppl in bham....i get to teach a colorguard in july and well..i'm just ready to graduate!!
